We also offer a <a href=\"\/studium\/studiengaenge\/masterstudiengang-soziologie\/\">Masters Course<\/a> and a teaching degree for the subjects Politics and Society (Primary school and high school).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The courses consist of lectures and seminars. Some courses can be part of multiple modules, as the topics can overlap. In the first semesters we recommend to take a &#8220;Basisseminar&#8221; as these provide a good introduction into each topic and are designed for first semesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Teaching is closely connected to the <a href=\"\/forschung\/\">research<\/a> at the institute. On one hand trough research seminars, connected to current research projects, as well as through the research done by the teaching staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions connected to your studies you can contact the <a href=\"\/studium\/studienfachberatung\/\">study-advisory<\/a>. The representation of the student body present themselves on <a href=\"\/studium\/fsi-soziologie\/\">their own page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finishing your studies at the institute can result in many different places of work. Research on the graduates of the Institute of Sociology shows a broad distribution of occupational fields.
