It is also about the organisation of labour in companies regarding flexibility and decentralisation. These create challenges for employees connected to tasks, identity and the way they are living. Employment is only one theme that is being researched at out institute. We are also looking at other types of work (f.e informal, precarious and domestic labour) and the connection between labour and how people life. The department is putting an emphasis on how industrial labour changes working relations and how employment is regulated. Focus is put on the social constitution of companies and how this connects to employees and management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking at question concerning sociology of labour, industry, organsation and enconomy. Our teaching focuses on the labour market, industrial relationship, sociology of organisations as well as management and economy. In additon we are offering a foundational course to introduce our students to basic terminology and create a foundational understanding of the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-secondary\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\">Teaching<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want provide a perspective centering on international and especially european comparison.
