Even during my B.A. of social studies at the university of Göttingen I was interested in looking at value chains and how socially sustainable working standards are being implemented. During my master studies I focused on changes inside working environments when looking at app-based working conditions of Liferando-drivers (delivery drivers). I am especially interest in the change of working environments due to increasing digitalisation while trying to secure ‘good working environments’. My work focuses on qualitative research, even though I increased my quantative research experience with the help of many research project (SOFI Göttingen, SFB 1342 Bremen).
Currently I am part of the research project “ForDaySec”. It is analysing the sociological aspects of the digitalisation of daily life when looking at cyber security. With the help of mixed methods, including case studies and quantitative surveys, I am deepening my knowledge on technological security innovations and how they can be handled.
