During my bachelor degree at the FAU in Erlangen-Nuremberg I worked as student assistant at the chair for sociology (technology – labour – society) at the NCT. This job offered me the possibility to have insights into the practical side of research on the sociology of labour and industry as well as deepen my knowledge on quantitative and qualitative data research.
During my masters at the university of Bamberg I found that my interests span aroung the topics of labour and digitalisation with the main focus on ‘organisations and job market’ and ‘internet and communication’. With my thesis I took a closer look at human-robot interactions due to my job as student assistant and the robot “Pepper” at the NCT.
Because I worked so closely with the team at the NCT, my knowledge and interests in the sociology of labour and industry have steadily grown and this is why I am very happy to continue my scientific research as scientific staff there. I continue to gain experience in scientific researcg and am able to research the digitalisation of working environment(s) with the help of BMBF-Projects like MoSyS (Human-oriented design of complex systems of systems) or ProKI (AI in production – Centre of demonstration and transfer for intelligant and human-oriented joining processes)
