What occupational fields can I enter after studying sociology?
Practical mediation of knowledge, application of what you have learned, key qualifications spanning more than just sociology and an internship can open many doors to finding employment after finishing your studies. In addition to that you are able to choose a personal field of interest while you follow your studies, this opens the possibility to qualify for many different jobs. Possible ones can be, for example: working for organisations, in HR, career counseling and further career training, market and opinion research, marketing and advertising, the statistical division of companies and public authorities, journalism. Sociologists are also needed in social planning (cities, youth, help for the elderly), gender equality, education of adults and for the work of political parties, associations and politicians.
