Main Areas of study at the institute of sociology

The study of sociology focuses on comparative social analysis, work and organisation, education and course of life, culture and communication as well as sociological theory and methods of empirical social analysis. These different fields not only structure the different courses that are being offered at the institute but reflect the scientific interests of our employees at the insitute. Current topics of research are routinely included into the content of the courses.
