Institute of Sociology

With seven professors and more than 30 members of staff, we teach and research central issues of contemporary society. This takes place in the fields of work and organization, education and life course, culture and communication, methods of empirical social research, sociological theory and comparative social analysis. Individual specializations can be chosen in these fields in the various Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses.
