The methods used to acchieve this span over the current theories discussed in sociology (including how they came to be) and current qualitative and quantitative methods of social research. Our study programs offer a selection of subject-related specialisations these include the following: work and organisation, education and course of life, culture and communication, comparative social analysis. Additionally you can focus your studies on sociological theory and methods of emprical social research.
We take care to educate our students in scientific reseach aswell. This spans verbal and written communication of arguments, critical reflections, discussion different standpoints and perspectives as well as presenting and communicating scientific findings and insights to a more general audience.
